1. If you think your campus has training points available to use:
- Contact the Training Center (or your SUNY TC Point Contact) to verify the amount of points available for use.
If you choose to use points:
- The Training Center will contact the vendor and enroll the student for the course. If your campus requires an on-campus class, the Training Center will assist in arranging for it.
- The Training Center will then confirm enrollment with your campus.
- The vendor will bill the Training Center.
If there are no points available or your campus chooses not to use points:
- The Training Center will contact the vendor.
- The vendor will call your campus to make arrangements for the course.
- The vendor will then bill your campus directly.
2. If you contact the vendor directly:
- The vendor will work with your campus to determine the training needed
- The vendor will then ask your campus if points are to be used
If there are no points to be used:
- The vendor will enroll the student and confirm to the student. In the case of an on-campus class, the vendor will arrange for the class.
- The vendor will then bill your campus directly.
If points are to be used or if you don’t know if there are points available:
- The vendor will contact the Training Center to determine if points can be used.
- If there are points available, the Training Center will confirm, and then notify both the student (campus) and the vendor. The vendor will then enroll the student (or arrange for the on-campus class) and bill the Training Center.
- If it is determined that points won’t be used, the vendor will enroll the student (or arrange for the on-campus class) and confirm, then bill the campus directly.
